Hi! I’m Louisa Richards, a Registered Nutritionist. I qualified in Nutritional Therapy with a first-class BSc. I am also a Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner, which helps me coach my clients.
I work with people to improve their health and manage their weight. My personalised approach and coaching skills help people to remove their barriers to change and achieve their full potential.
As well as seeing clients for consultations and running workshops, I am a freelance health writer. I write for Medical News Today, the internet’s leading independent medical news website. I previously wrote for NutraIngredients and FoodNavigator, leading online news sources for the nutrition and food industry.
I have worked in education for many years as part of the academic team on a nutrition science degree course. I am also a clinic supervisor for students training in nutritional therapy.
Having had a plant-based diet all my life, I am very experienced in supporting vegetarian and vegan clients. However, my clients have a broad scope of diets and variety of health issues.
Outside of work, I enjoy gardening and flower arranging, having qualified and worked as a florist previously. My first degree was in illustration and graphic design, and I still enjoy creative hobbies to relax. I’m passionate about plant-based cooking, and I’m often in the kitchen making new recipes.
